Selective remodeling of cardiolipin fatty acids in the aged rat heart

Now before I wrap this up I want to look at a few other studies I've seen this study cited often to show "unsaturation" of cardiolipin with aging, however the study actually show a loss of linoleic acid in favor of other O3/O6 fats, not a loss of SFA http
