Does poor methodological quality of prediction modeling studies translate to poor model performance? An illustration in traumatic brain injury

Kind of inconclusive. Comparing prediction models cannot be so straightforward though.

In other words, build your risk prediction model properly the first time - unless you only care about getting it published in some crappy journal
