Abstract

CT findings in 3 cases with SFT confirmed by histopathology and immunohistochemistry were reviewed retrospectively, and compared with pathological results. Three cases were large, well-defined and smooth contour of masses and SFT was consisted of solid components of two different density. On enhanced CT scans, tumors showed strongly enhancing, the multiple vascular shadows were seen within the tumor in arterial phase. There is progressive enhancement from the arterial to venous phase, and capsule of tumor can be displayed. Histologically, the tumors are composed of spindle cells within a background of collagen stroma, and showed a wide range of growth patterns, alternating hypercellular (tumor cell-rich) and hypocellular (collagen-rich) areas. The diagnosis is confirmed by characteristic positive immunohistochemical staining for CD34.

Attention Score in Context

Attention Score in Context

This research output has an Altmetric Attention Score of 4. This is our high-level measure of the quality and quantity of online attention that it has received. This Attention Score, as well as the ranking and number of research outputs shown below, was calculated when the research output was last mentioned on 28 September 2016.
All research outputs
#6,943,417
of 22,769,322 outputs
Outputs from World Journal of Surgical Oncology
#202
of 2,042 outputs
Outputs of similar age
#77,253
of 260,385 outputs
Outputs of similar age from World Journal of Surgical Oncology
#8
of 90 outputs
Altmetric has tracked 22,769,322 research outputs across all sources so far. This one has received more attention than most of these and is in the 68th percentile.
So far Altmetric has tracked 2,042 research outputs from this source. They receive a mean Attention Score of 2.0. This one has done well, scoring higher than 89% of its peers.
Older research outputs will score higher simply because they've had more time to accumulate mentions. To account for age we can compare this Altmetric Attention Score to the 260,385 tracked outputs that were published within six weeks on either side of this one in any source. This one has gotten more attention than average, scoring higher than 69% of its contemporaries.
We're also able to compare this research output to 90 others from the same source and published within six weeks on either side of this one. This one has done particularly well, scoring higher than 91% of its contemporaries.
