EGLN1という遺伝子の変異の有無によって、血中の酸素濃度低下のパターンが異なり、これが高所での高山病のかかりやすさ(かかりにくさ)を反映している可能性が日本人を対象とした研究で明らかになった。この変異を簡単に測定できれば、高山病対策が変わり、登山はもっと安全なスポーツになるはず。 https://t.co/dKs609WXZA
